Volonté des membres

Cette décision reflète la volonté des membres, clairement exprimée lors des consultations menées par les trois centrales au cours des derniers mois. Devant l’ampleur des défis à relever, les membres ont demandé aux organisations de joindre leurs forces afin de travailler efficacement et solidairement.

Orientations

À la suite de consultations menées auprès de leurs membres en prévision de la négociation, les trois centrales ont adopté, lors de leurs instances respectives, des orientations qui s’incarnent dans les grands principes suivants :

Que dans le cadre de la prochaine négociation, l’accent soit mis tant sur l’amélioration des conditions de travail et de pratique que sur l’amélioration des conditions salariales.
Que les principes sous-jacents aux demandes salariales :
- Assurent un enrichissement réel pour l’ensemble des personnes salariées en prévoyant des hausses supérieures à l’inflation et une protection du pouvoir d’achat ;
- Visent un rattrapage salarial général pour l’ensemble des personnes salariées par rapport à d’autres secteurs d’activité et à d’autres marchés afin de favoriser l’attraction et la rétention ;
- Portent une attention aux inégalités face à l’inflation et au revenu de base pour les personnes salariées les moins bien payées du secteur public ;
- Portent une attention aux salaires d’entrée.
Que les revendications sur la retraite soient élaborées dans une perspective d’amélioration de la qualité de vie à la retraite et de maintien des acquis des régimes actuels, tout en se préoccupant de la pérennité du régime de retraite et du taux de cotisation. De plus, qu’elles prennent en considération différents éléments, dont la rétention du personnel expérimenté sur une base volontaire.

C’est donc à partir de ces principes que la CSN, la CSQ et la FTQ élaboreront en front commun leurs revendications. Ces demandes feront l’objet d’une vaste consultation auprès de l’ensemble des membres avant le dépôt des revendications, prévu en octobre.

Rappelons que les conventions collectives arriveront à échéance le 31 mars 2023.
